Pricing methodology

Card prices are sourced from live marketplace data. The current web implementation refreshes the price feed hourly and uses TCGPlayer market prices first, with Cardmarket trend values as a fallback when needed.

Display currency is separate from source pricing. USD is the canonical base, while currency conversion is applied only for presentation using daily exchange rates from rates.mydextcg.com.

Values shown on the site are not professional appraisals and do not guarantee a resale price. Real selling price depends on condition, exact printing, language, edition, demand, and marketplace fees.

When rates are unavailable, the website falls back to USD. This matches the app behavior so the user never sees stale or misleading conversions.
